This talk provides an overview of and updates on the University of California at Davis’s Global Tea Initiative for the Study of Tea Culture and Science (GTI, https://globaltea.ucdavis.edu/). It describes its mission, goals, and the steps already taken on the path to becoming the Global Tea Institute. A Q&A follows the talk. Questions and suggestions are welcome.
