Pairing Tea and Bourbon
When Bruce Richardson isn’t talking about tea, he’s lecturing on his state’s signature beverage – Bourbon. Richardson is a graduate of the Woodford Reserve Bourbon Academy where he has made four appearances at Tea and Bourbon Designer Dinners hosted by the world-famous distillery. Students will experience how certain foods influence the way we taste both Bourbon and tea before they are led through a guided pairing experience. Participants will focus their tasting skills as they look for common flavor notes and influencers found in two of the world’s most fascinating beverages. Past audiences have included World Tea Expo, SIAL Shanghai, and the Chicago International Tea Festival.
