COVID-19 Virus Update -

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Northwest Tea Festival Planning Committee made the very difficult decision to cancel the in person 2020 festival.

Now 2021 is here, and we hope we can find a way where we can again celebrate tea this September!!

While complying with any restrictions that will be in place in September, we are exploring our options to see if we can structure the festival to ensure the safety of the vendors, sponsors, presenters, volunteers and attendees.

We will use this space and our Facebook Page to keep you updated for any further developments.

For now, we are enjoying our tea at home as we hope you are too. Please stay healthy, happy, smart, and safe. We hope to see you in September of 2021.

August 2018 World of Tea Event Review

Excerpt:

We had the unique opportunity to taste a broad range of Kenyan teas covering the spectrum of oxidation.

World of Tea Series: Teas of Kenya

World of Tea Series: Teas of Kenya

The August 18th World of Tea event was a focused tasting of a wide range of teas grown and produced in Kenya, presented by Cinnabar Wright (Phoenix Tea). There were a variety of teas selected from the categories of white, green, black, and oolong.  Each tea had its own distinctive character and all were true teas from the Camelia sinensis plant.

Thanks to everyone who attended!  As always, we hope you'll join us for the next World of Tea event.
