Bitaco is a "new" tea origin for High Grown tea that is cultivated at over 6000 feet above sea level and is loacted in the exotic, beautiful, mist-capped Andes at Bitaco, Colombia.  Our location is in the bio-geographic region of Choco is characterized by its high level of rainfall and exceptional biodiversity.  The Bitaco Tea plantation is a tiny tea garden nestled alongside a thriving, protected rain forest, the Bitaco Regional Forest Reserve.

We make smooth, “subtly sweet,” and mellow teas with a beautiful amber color and soft kind flavor, great body, and teasing hints of sweet fruit raisins and dried plums.  The unique nature of Bitaco Teas is welcomed by consumers around the world who prefer these cup characteristics over more astringent and harsher cup qualities.

Today, Smacha,Tea Master and C.C. Fine Tea imports, exports, manufactures, grows tea and manufactures tea-ware. We are able to control every aspect of the production process, from care of the gardens, to the firing and brewing of tea. Our organic green teas and organically controlled Oolong tea, White tea, and Black tea, allow us to offer a wide range of tea drinking satisfaction. Our oolong teas, from Fujian province, have won awards in China and in Japan, 2000 to 2002.
We have introduced the revolutionary TeaMaster Smart-Brew Cups. This innovative cup brings out the best in your tea. Enjoy the great fragrance and flavor that lingers on your palate.

Great tea, friendly stores and above-and-beyond customer service. It seemed like a simple idea, but we couldn’t find anyone else that was doing it. So in 2008, we decided to take matters into our own hands. We opened our first store on vibrant Queen Street in Toronto, Canada, and before long, first time customers became regulars, our neighbours became our friends and our store became a community fixture. And the same thing has happened at every new store since. Today DAVIDsTEA has over 200 stores in neighbourhoods and communities across Canada and the United States. And we’re not slowing down any time soon – we can’t wait to share the DAVIDsTEA experience with the whole world.

Walk into a DAVIDsTEA today and you can choose from over 150 types of tea, including exclusive blends, limited edition seasonal collections, traditional straight teas and exotic infusions from around the globe. Not to mention the largest collection of organic teas and infusions in North America.

We’re seriously passionate about great tasting teas, and we have something to satisfy every palate and every craving. Looking for a sweet treat? Then you’ll love Read My Lips, our chocolate mint dessert tea, or Red Velvet Cake, a creation that tastes just like its namesake. Into something more traditional? Check out our premium green teas like Sencha Ashikubo or Dragonwell. And to help you make the best cup of tea possible, we also carry a line of innovative tea accessories designed in-house, from spoons and infusers to tea sets and travel mugs.

So…why tea? Because it’s healthy, delicious and fun. Because it brings people together, all over the world. Because it’s the second-most popular drink on the planet, second only to water.

And, quite simply, because it makes us happy.

Inside Floating Leaves you will always find friendly, knowledgeable staff who are looking forward to showing you new teas, and discovering which Taiwanese Oolongs are your favorites. The Japanese tea shop Jugetsudo was started in 1980 by Maruyama Nori, the nori (dried seaweed) merchant that was founded in 1854. More than 160 years of tradition and experience pursuing the highest quality ingredients along with the spirit of “Cha-Zen” promise an enjoyable fragrance of tea that will stimulate your senses while providing a sense of comfort.
Jugetsudo opened a tea shop in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés quarter of Paris in 2008. Our authentic Japanese tea has been well received among the people in Paris, the connoisseurs of good food.
Jugetsudo has just started reaching out to the customers in the U.S. The Portland Japanese Garden is now serving our tea at their newly opened tea room, called Umami Cafe and their gift shop also carries our products.

Jugetsudo means “the place from where one looks at the moon.” When we look at the moon, we become humble and truly appreciate its eternal beauty. Jugetsudo would like to offer the bounty of nature through our high-quality tea in a humble and honest way.

Eating allergen free is a lifestyle we began over 15 years ago as a young family with the birth of our older daughter, who has multiple food allergies including the top 8 – wheat, dairy, soy, eggs, nuts, peanuts, fish and shellfish, as well as corn, rice, yeast and potatoes, among others. Our other three children also have allergies to nuts, eggs and seafood.

Recipes were born of necessity when we discovered that all the usual ingredients for gluten free goodies were also allergens to us. With a desire for inclusion and a taste for sweets, I looked to my Asian roots, experimenting with ingredients atypical to the Western palate to invent our cakes and cookies. I continue to experiment with new ingredients and play with old recipes to expand our offerings. We find our baked goods tempting and tasty and hope you do too!

We're passionate about tea.
We are tea enthusiasts who love our daily cups of tea. And we're busy parents who want to enjoy the many health benefits of tea but sometimes have to enjoy our favorite beverage on-the-go. To bring balance to our busy lives and yours, we created LizzyKate to share our favorite teas and some great accessories.

We believe the calming sensation that comes from drinking tea is universal, and that we all need more calmness in our lives. For ourselves, our family and friends, we've tested many types of teas and lots of differing tea accessories to find the best. Believers in the health advantages of the whole tea leaf, we are focusing on stocking our favorite loose leaf tea.

Our Company Name
We noticed that a lot of tea companies have masculine names and we wanted a feminine, yet modern name. So we took two classic names, Elizabeth and Katherine, and modernized them to make LizzyKate. Elizabeth and Katherine are also family names, and we like how the modern combination of these traditional names makes a fun company name for our modern take on the traditional world of tea..

My Matcha Life was created out of a passion for health and wellness and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

“Bringing to market a plant-based beverage (matcha) which naturally contains two of the worlds most amazing health nutrients and enhances the wellness of peoples lives, is one of the most, if not the most rewarding activity I have ever done,” says Calli O’Brien CEO and Co Founder of My Matcha Life, she adds, “I’m as passionate about high quality matcha today as I was 12 years ago!”

Her business partner Zee Cajthamlova whole heartedly agrees, “Everyday I talk with people who share their story about how our products have had a positive impact on their life. It’s very rewarding.”

Two standards stood out strongly for us when we were creating the My Matcha Life brand.

First, that we provide high quality matcha products in a wide enough variety to satisfy the diverse matcha tea lovers out there, the purists, the price conscious, the foodie’s, and the health focused.

Secondly, it was very important that our labels and messaging be clear and easily understood. Our biggest pet peeve is to see misleading matcha labels.

My Matcha Life is based on the 4 principles of the Japanese Tea Ceremony: harmony, purity, respect and tranquility. We do our best to follow those principles everyday.

Have a Matcha question? Just ask us - visit us at our booth at the tea festival or by going to our website listed below:

Our story is one of experimentation and surprise. It begins with a love for tea, a hot summer day, and a challenge to create an all-new kind of tea treat.

With 11 years of tea blending experience under its belt, The Jasmine Pearl Tea Company was blossoming. Its tea-loving employees were being made into tea experts – committed to excellence, but also to fun and laughter.

As afternoon sun beamed through our windows, a co-worker and I were speculating about the most refreshing summer treat we could make in the shop. We had plenty of tea at our fingertips – but also ice-cream: “What if we could make a TEA FLOAT?!” One tea blend, Dancing Dragon, had a decidedly root beer character. But without the bubbles, it fell short of expectations. Heather, co-owner of The Jasmine Pearl, pulled a soda stream out of the break room. Suddenly, Dancing Dragon floats became a delicious reality.

That was our first creation, but it didn’t stop there. The whole staff started experimenting wildly with tea sodas. Some of our favorites were total surprises – Lime Twist was so bright and flavorful! Some were weirder than we hoped – sorry, Ginger Peach! Every trial was exciting and soon we were sharing our creations with customers.

In March, 2016, we founded Pearl Soda Company. It was born of delight in the creative opportunities tea offers. Our four original flavors represent our tea experts' favorite experiments. Our hope is that you use these tea syrups to invent your own concoctions. Whether you are whipping up sparkling teas, cocktails, lattes, desserts, or something completely unimagined, we hope they bring you the same simple delight that we get from making them.

We sell tea from origins all over the world and present special tea-related demonstrations, classes, and experiences. Come in for a tasting or to peruse our selection of tea wares. Most of our teas are traditional, single origin, pure teas made from the true tea plant – Camellia sinensis – but we also carry a number of non-tea infusions. Our tea wares range from the basic tools and accoutrements for casual tea making to finely crafted one-of-a-kind antique and artisan-made pieces.

We have just moved from our lovely little shop in Olde Burien, where we spent the last nearly five years, to a new, much bigger and more flexible space in the heart of downtown! We are now across the street from the weekly Burien Farmer’s Market that runs on Thursdays from May through October, Town Square Park, and the Burien branch of the King County Library System. There is free on-street parking throughout the neighborhood. Come check out the new space and have a cup of tea with us!

TOCHA Teas — A Delicious Difference You can Taste & Feel

Only Certified Organic Ingredients - Our use of only certified organic ingredients helps ensure our teas and blends are pure and safe. It is not possible to wash tea before brewing, so it is important to make sure the ingredients are free from pesticides and other harmful chemicals before they reach the cup.

Honest, Pure Ingredients - No flavorings — neither artificial nor “natural.” Many brands add flavoring to their teas. TOCHA does not agree with this practice. We believe in honest ingredients. What you see is what you get — to taste, savor and feel! The fragrant botanicals we use add just the right amount of delectable aroma and flavor to every cup, showcasing what our wonderful nature can offer.

East Meets West - A Delicious, Holistic Way to Support Your Healthy Lifestyle - Our recipes draw ingredients from both the Eastern and Western hemispheres. Some of our ingredients are highly treasured and very popular in Asia, but less so in North America and other Western communities. For example, chrysanthemum flower blends are uncommon in the U.S. but quite popular in the East. We precision-blend these popular botanicals from diverse cultures to achieve inspiring flavors, fragrances and real-brewed-tea quality, providing you a daily holistic option for your healthy lifestyle.

Your Wellness In Mind - TOCHA has created a family of blends made from teas and botanicals valued for centuries for their diverse wellness-promoting benefits. Some of our blends are good for helping your fit-and-trim goals; some help to soothe and relax you after a rough day. Creating blends that taste great while supporting your daily wellness regimen is our focus and commitment.
